PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that if the issue of negotiations has reached the level of a meeting of five elders, it should not be considered.

While talking to the media after reaching Dahgal Naka Adiala Road on the occasion of going to meet party founder Imran Khan, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that if the issue of negotiations has reached the level of a meeting of five elders, it should not be considered because neither the five elders can meet nor is there a need for it.

He raised the question that how will the negotiations take place when meetings are not allowed? We come every Tuesday and go back without meeting. It has been more than a month since anyone met the founder.

PTI Chairman said that by making the meetings controversial, where will the talks move forward, a heavy price is being demanded to normalize the situation. He said that no matter how much effort we made to improve the situation, the other side made the same effort to worsen the situation.

Barrister Gohar said that the biggest strength of the founder and his party is its workers. The workers have endured all the hardships imposed by the state. He announced that there will be a shutter down and wheel jam strike across the country on February 8 and a full-scale protest will be recorded.

He said that a meeting of Imran Khan, his sisters and lawyers is necessary to normalize the situation. Notifications of Achakzai Sahib and Allama Sahib should be issued in the National Assembly and Senate. Those who are working for the improvement of the situation should be praised.

Barrister Gohar said that he also received a call from Imran Ismail. He made it clear that we will not participate in this conference because the party has reservations about it. He said that he does not comment publicly on the words of party people.

The PTI Chairman explained that the issue of begging was distorted, their aim was that despite court orders, SOPs and laws, meetings are not given and if permission is not given despite court orders, then this is begging. He said that our system has become silent. There has been no leadership meeting since February last year. There are instructions from the founder regarding the street movement. No committee of the party can ignore these instructions, protest is our right and the party has a plan of action.

The PTI Chairman said that we have never called off negotiations but there is no logic in talking about five elders. He said that the Speaker has asked to decide on the notification by the next meeting. We want the notification of the opposition leaders to be issued before the next meeting.

He said that the PPP is expected to allow the rally in Sindh. We support the issue of giving full protocol to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Barrister Gohar said that Senator Ali Zafar has the trust of the founder while Abro Sahib has been expelled from the party. PTI will never sabotage anything. He said that I am in office as long as the founder has the trust.

Aleema Khan's speech

Meanwhile, Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan, while talking to the media at Gorakhpur Naka, said that the delay in the Quran recitation was because the roads were blocked. She said that people recite the Quran wherever they are stopped. The founder of PTI has been kept in solitary confinement, what will they get by keeping the founder in prison, the constitution is clear about continuous solitary confinement. They are afraid of the founder because he will come out and talk about the freedom of the people.

He said that the country's economy has been destroyed. The police are appealed to work hard but not obey illegal orders. Criticizing the government, he said that the country is not being managed by them, people are fed up with them. We come for a meeting but the meeting is not held, the name of the founder is not even mentioned in the media but the news of the Israeli Prime Minister is being circulated.

Imran Khan's sisters and workers' sit-in

It should be noted that today is the day of meeting with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail, for which PTI workers have started reaching Gorakhpur Naka while a heavy contingent of police has also been deployed. The roads leading to Adiala Jail have been blocked by setting up checkpoints at 5 places.

Meanwhile, PTI workers recited the Quran at the Factory Naka. Rawalpindi police brought a water tanker to the sit-in site and released water, which spread water all over the sit-in site. The sit-in participants were forced to change their place and the police also removed the tanker from there. The workers raised strong slogans.

Salman Akram Raja said that Quran recitation is part of our religion, it is a shame to throw dirty water, we will keep saying the word of truth by looking the oppressor in the eyes, we will also recite and raise the slogan of freedom.

Later, Aleema Khan's sit-in is continuing at the Adiala Road Factory checkpoint, where her other two sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan, are also present, while the workers are raising strong slogans. During this, Imran Khan's other two sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan, also reached the factory checkpoint.

Later, the time for meeting Imran Khan at Adiala Jail ended, no leader, including the sisters of the founder PTI, was allowed to meet.
