Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi has said that Imran Khan has given all the powers, including negotiating with the government or running a movement, to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.

This was said by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi while talking to the media on the occasion of his visit to Jamrud.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi said that the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, has delegated all the powers, including running a protest movement, in case of negotiating with the government or not, to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas. He clarified that the future political course of action will be decided in consultation with these leaders. Whatever decision the leadership of the Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Ain Pakistan takes, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will stand by it.

Talking about the situation in the Tirah Valley area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said that he was not aware of any kind of displacement in the Tirah Valley, however, information has been received that agreements have been forcibly written from the local citizens of Tirah Valley, which is a matter of concern.

No one has contacted him regarding the operation in Tirah

He said that if any matter comes to him regarding what is happening with the helpless citizens of Tirah Valley, he will definitely talk and protect the rights of the people, but so far no official has contacted him regarding any possible operation in the Tirah Valley.

Talking about the development of the merged districts, Sohail Afridi said that he has already announced a development package of Rs 1,000 billion for the merged districts, the government is taking serious steps to bring the merged districts into the national mainstream and provide basic facilities to the people there.

The Chief Minister said that all decisions for the resolution of public problems and political stability will be made in consultation and within the constitutional framework and no compromise will be made on the interests of the people of the province.

Addressing elders and jirga in Tehsil Bara

Later, in his address to the local elders and people's jirga in Tehsil Bara, he said that the democratic government of Imran Khan was abolished through regime change. After the regime change, we were targeted through false narratives but we thwarted it. We organized a grand peace jirga for the permanent establishment of peace, which presented a 15-point unanimous declaration. All political and religious parties and every school of thought opposed any operation in the peace jirga and now attempts are being made to sabotage this peace agenda as well.

The Chief Minister met 10-year-old Zainab Bibi, who is suffering from heart disease, at her residence in Jamrud. The Chief Minister announced that Zainab Bibi would undergo a heart surgery at government expense. The Chief Minister took care of Zainab Bibi and also announced cash financial assistance.

The Chief Minister also approved the installation of a government tube well in the name of Zainab Bibi and the upgradation of a government primary school. Zainab Bibi recited poems in favor of the founding Chairman Imran Khan to the Chief Minister.

Zainab, who is suffering from heart disease, was invited to the Chief Minister’s House a month and a half ago by the Chief Minister.
