Israel's new move: Canadian MPs blocked from entering the West Bank

The Israeli government stopped a Canadian parliamentary delegation traveling to the West Bank at the border.

According to foreign media, a 30-member delegation, including six Canadian MPs, was not allowed to enter the West Bank at the Allenby Crossing in Jordan.

According to the report, Israeli authorities demanded that the delegation members sign a document in which they were to acknowledge that they were a threat to public security. The Canadian delegation rejected this condition, after which they were forced to return.
